Marin County Behavioral Health & Recovery Services (BHRS) is spreading awareness for better mental health and well-being in our County.  Together, we can create an inclusive and accepting community that is free of mental health stigma. One way we can do that is by sharing stories,  creating conversations, and finding connections, both to resources and treatment.

One of the goals at BHRS is to support your mental health and those you care about, not just this month but throughout the year!

There are over 10 different events hosted by BHRS and community-based partners around Marin County, including Marin County Suicide Prevention Collaborative, Marin 9 to 25, Gun Safety Collaborative, North Marin Community Services, Buckelew Programs,  NAMI-Marin, Marin County Youth Commission, Youth Leadership Institute, Enterprise Resource Center and Mental Health Advocates of Marin, Alcohol JusticeOD Free MarinMarin Healthy Youth Partnerships and more!

Redefining Strength

A campaign for mental health for men and boys to help create awareness about what it means to be strong and where we draw strength to support mental health. The initiative is supported by Marin County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services and the Marin County Suicide Prevention Collaborative. It aims to inspire new thinking and action around mental well-being for males who find it challenging to seek help.
